Soltinho
Soltinho is a Brazilian ballroom dance known for its contagious energy, joyful spirit, and incredible versatility. Its movements can be quick or moderate depending on the music’s rhythm, allowing for a fluid, fun, and adaptable dance.
It blends influences from various styles and can be danced to Brazilian and international music, such as rock, pop, and other lively rhythms that invite movement!

Forró is one of Brazil’s most popular and vibrant dances, originating from the Northeast region. It's a social dance that combines joy, closeness, and cultural expression, making it a symbol of Brazilian identity and attracting fans worldwide.
Danced in different styles—such as xote, baião, and arrasta-pé—Forró is simple to learn yet rich in feeling. It invites smiles, warmth, and the joy of togetherness, celebrating music and connection.

Sandra Ruthes
Sandra began her dance journey in Brazil, where she developed a deep understanding of the rhythms and movements that define Brazilian ballroom dances. Throughout her career, she has specialized in creating authentic connections through dance, focusing on non-verbal communication and musical expression.
As a teacher, Sandra has a gift for making every student feel comfortable and confident, regardless of their previous experience. Her warm and inclusive approach reflects the essence of the Brazilian culture she represents.
Guilherme Rolim

Guilherme Rolim
Guilherme brings decades of experience in teaching and performing Brazilian dances. His refined technique and deep understanding of music allow him to convey not just the steps, but also the feeling and intent behind each movement.
Known for his ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and accessible way, Guilherme helps students develop a genuine connection with their partners and the music, transforming technical movements into artistic expression.

Do you have to be a couple or in a romantic relationship to come dance?
Not at all. The classes are designed for pairs, but it is not necessary to be a couple. It can be your best friend, a colleague, your partner — anyone you want to dance with.
All pairs are welcome, whatever they may be — two women, two men, or mixed. What matters is the desire to share the dance together.
Do we switch partners during class?
No. Throughout the entire class, you will dance exclusively with the partner you comming with. The experience is designed to strengthen the connection within the pair.
Do I have to speak Portuguese to follow the class?
Not at all! Our classes are designed to welcome all languages. In addition to dancing, you might even learn some Portuguese along the way! Many of the commands, step names, and songs are in Portuguese—but over time, it all becomes second nature.
Who knows? You might leave class dancing _and_ expanding your linguistic skills!
